The time will come for all of us to be stepping out
to start living our lives without any doubt
no hiding behind someone else no more being small
ready to step out and stand tall.
The time will come to listen to our own voice
to start thinking and making our own choice
no taking over someone else´s ideas
no copying other´s fears.
The time will come to go our own way
to listen to us not to what others say
to take the steps towards that me
that well and truly we want to be.
Maybe we will feel sad about what we leave behind
but it will never go out of the heart never leave the mind
it will be a memory that will not fade away
reminding us of somewhere, somehow, someday.
