swore you wouldn´t go away

you are miles away yet near

you said you´d never leave

every good bye would be brief

I wish I knew what you mean

I hope I can remember everything I have seen

I pray I will not forget

everything you have ever said.

I wish I could keep you right here next to me

where you are I want to be

forever holding onto you

for you are so sincere and true.

It doesn´t take much to be a saint 

but there is so much to be gained

for once I am at the receiving end

because you are someone heaven has sent.
